Arbat is the most famous pedestrian street in Moscow. It is an old street too, as its current outlines shaped in the 16th century. Besides, this place is closely connected with some renowned figures in Russian culture, among them poet Alexander Pushkin, composer Alexander Skryabin, theater director Yevgeny Vakhtangov. Each building, each monument here can tell us a lot about the past.

The street was turned into a car-free zone in the 1980-s. Since that time it has been Moscow's must-visit promenade where people come to see and be seen.

The street has dozens of restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops. You will find buskers, street painters and many other interesting things here.

During the tour you will learn about the history of the street, its buildings and dwellers and get some of the most charming views of Moscow.

We will also visit neighboring Prechistenka street with its beautiful 19th century noble mansions. We will see the cathedral of Christ the Savior, the main orthodox temple in the country, and enjoy the best panorama of the Kremlin!

This tour can also be combined with the tour of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, which includes a visit to the magnificent observation deck located on the upper floor of the cathedral. The observation deck is served by lifts and gives breathtaking views of Moscow. The tour of the cathedral should be booked beforehand.
