The six old churches of Yekaterinburg
The tour is devoted to the history of old, pre-revolutionary Orthodox churches of the capital of the Urals, each of them having its history, its unique esthetics and its holy objects of worship. We will discover the fate of six churches in the city center, how they attracted people not only as religious, but also as cultural center before the October revolution, what happened to them in the Soviet time, and how they were being restored in modern-day democratic Russia. During the tour there will be a meeting with an Orthodox priest in one of the churches where he will tell you about its past and present
Le tour est consacrée à l'histoire des anciennes églises orthodoxes pré-révolutionnaires de la capitale de l'Oural, chacune d'elles ayant son histoire, son esthétique unique et ses objets sacrés. Nous découvrirons le sort de six églises du centre-ville, comment elles attiraient les gens non seulement en tant que des centres religieux, mais aussi culturels, avant la révolution d'Octobre, et ce qui leur est arrivé à l'époque soviétique et comment elles ont été restaurées à l'époque moderne de la Russie démocratique. Au cours du tour, il y aura une rencontre avec un prêtre orthodoxe dans l'une des églises dont il vous racontera de son passé et de son présent.
Экскурсия посвящена истории старых, дореволюционных православных храмов столицы Урала, каждый из которых имеет свою историю, свою неповторимую эстетику и свои святыни. Мы узнаем о судьбе шести церквей в центре города, о том, как они привлекали людей не только как религиозные, но и как культурные центры до Октябрьской революции, а также что происходило с ними в советское время и как их восстанавливали в современной демократической России. Во время экскурсии состоится встреча с православным священником в одном из храмов, где он расскажет вам о прошлом и настоящем своего прихода.
