Unknown Armenia - Mountains of Parakhadem

Route: Yerevan – Parakhadem (1955 m) - Khor Virap - Azad reservoir - Symphony of Stones gorge - Yerevan (based on time and weather, you can add the gorge of angels)

In the morning, you and I will move out of Yerevan, towards the Khor Virap monastery, where we will learn about the history of this Armenian church and see an unforgettable panorama of the symbol of Armenia - Mount Ararat. Having left the monastery, we will follow through the Ararat Valley in a southern direction and the next step will begin our off-road ascent towards Mount Parakhadem - this is one of the highest peaks of the Urts mountain range. Height 1955 meters. From the top there is a wonderful view of the Urtsi Mountains, as well as Big and Small Ararat. We will organize a tasting of Armenian wine on site, and there will also be an opportunity to take unforgettable photos with Mount Ararat in the background.

Then we will follow you to see another beautiful place in Armenia - the Azad Reservoir, from where there is a view of the surrounding mountains. The next step is to descend into the Symphony of Stones gorge, where you will see unique rock forms created by natural volcanic processes. In the evening, filled with impressions, we will return to Yerevan with you.

*If time allows, you can stop by the small Gorge of Angels and take a walk among its walls.
