The town of AKONO,is found in the out skirt of Yaounde in the Mefou AKONO Division, it is known to be the famous back bone of Catholicity in Yaounde , renown for natural blessings, with a natural spring beside of which is the grotto of the Blessed Virgin Mary and is believed by the the locals to that the spring purifies from ill luck and it also grant mysterious healings.it is a site of silence in a natural forest proper for inner meditation , prayers and being closer to God. A haven for a good educational foundation, a place where most of the administrators of Cameroon studied. It is a quiet and calm place with well favorable structures for prayers, silence,and inner renewer . A place with agricultural training centre, a place where the National players usually go for training before any International competition , a place that host the Saint Joseph’s Seminary , the Sisters of cross convent, visit to the old peoples home known as the Sara’s home, greetings to them and if possible offer them any special gift from the heart.

Lunch with the Rev. Sisters and departure for Yaounde passing through the Akok Bekoe Cave, Listen to the local Guide about the mystery of the cave , photos, then return to Yaounde and end of service.
