Negev

Day 1

Drive to the Dead Sea and drive alongside to Mount Sodom at the southern tip of the Dead Sea

A short off road driving to the viewpoint on top of Mount Sodom

Drive further southward to Hazeva in Arava Valley, an ancient important station on the "Caravan route"

Cross westward through Negev Desert

Few interesting stops on the way to Mount Avnon overlooking "The Large Crater (Makhtesh)"

A short hike to Ein (spring) Yorke'am, hopefully with some water in it

Drive to Ein Ovdat nature reserve, including a short hike

Drive shortly to Sdeh Boker Kibbutz to visit Ben Gurion's (the State of Israel's founder) Hut

Overnight in a local desert inn

Day 2

Visit Ovdat national park, the ruins of one of the important ancient stations on the Caravan Route

Drive southward to Ramon Crater – explore some of its unique geological phenomena

Drive into the crater all the way to another station of the Caravan Route and hike in "Nekarot Horseshoe Trail" for a couple of hours

Drive back to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem for overnight

3 Days tour to the Negev Desert

Day 1

Overnight in Mitzpeh Ramon

Day 3

A 4 hours jeep tour (to be reserved separately) inside the Ramon Crater and its surroundings

Drive southward towards Eilat and stop by Timna Park to explore some of its highlights such as "the Mushroom", the ancient Egyptian temple, the Copper mines, the lake etc.

Optional – visit Chay Bar (Wildlife) nature reserve, dedicated to preserve indigenous wildlife that had been extinct ever since biblical times and being bred and grown in a wide Savanna like environment and landscape.

Drive to Eilat for overnight
